About The Great Falls Higher Education Center... |
The Great Falls Higher Education Center was
established in 1994. It is administered by the presidents of
Montana State University, the University of Great Falls, and
The University of Montana. The Dean of the MSU College of
Technology-Great Falls serves as Director of the Center.
The
Center:
-
Responds to identified educational needs of the Great Falls
community through higher education courses and degree
programs;
-
Monitors the creation and implementation of courses and
major programs among member institutions to assure
high-quality delivery standards and to avoid unnecessary
program duplication;
-
Promotes cooperation among member institutions in sharing
academic expertise and educational resources for program
delivery;
-
Serves as a clearinghouse for postsecondary degree programs
being offered in the Great Falls community;
-
Provides supplementary educational services including
access to co-curricular activities and career placement
programs.
